Your daughter is a beautiful 12 year old. She's a happy and popular honors student. Like many thousand in the USA, she is a Latch Key Kid, at home alone until Mom or Dad return from work. She calls you in a panic and says, “Daddy I’m scared. A car was following me home from the bus stop. I saw the same car yesterday but didn’t think it was a big deal. I am at home now and I locked the door. I don’t see the car right now. Wait! I see it coming down the street! It just pulled in the driveway! What do I do Daddy, what do I do?”
What do you do? Do you have her discontinue her call with you and dial 911 knowing this will completely sever your contact with her?
What's your move?
