You decided to go trail riding after a big snow on the mountain, why not take advantage of the fun opportunity. You travel down one of your favorite trails and pull off to a spot where you can stop to have a fire and cook some of your Mountain House food.
Night nears, it’s getting colder and you decide it’s time to pack up and head out. The trail has become very icy and you start to notice your traction has been adversely affected. Coming around a corner, you have to slam on the breaks realizing that the road ahead has collapsed!! Too late, the forward momentum of you vehicle on the icy roads sends you straight off the trail down a 3 food ledge and your car immediately shuts off. There is no way you are getting out of here, not with the recovery gear you have. You get out your car and go to the trunk to grab your BOB. As you yank it out, you slip, bash your head, your bag goes flying down the mountain side in the deep snow and you go lights out for 30 seconds. You wake up hazy and very cold with none of your gear.
What's your move?
