Scenario 76 - She Caught the Rona

Updated: Apr 15, 2021

She complained about a dry cough the last few days and you didn't think much of it. But, this morning, when she woke up with a 101° fever asking you for Aspirin, you knew something was going on. You've seen all the social media chatter about the Wuhan Corona Virus (COVID-19) but never really figured it would make its way to your neck of the woods.

Funny how all the news can play tricks on your mind and immediately start to think the worst. But, what if? I mean, you have been out in public and haven't really been as careful as you could've been, right? Is it possible?

She just asked for her inhaler. Things aren't looking good. Now you begin to wonder how much she may have touched and who else she may have gotten sick. Could be just a respiratory infection, probably need to get her checked out today. So many thoughts going through your head. Are the kids at risk now? Is it only a matter of time before you start showing symptoms, you sleep in the same bed?! With an incubation period of up to 2 weeks there's so many possible contaminated surfaces in the house and now she's showing heavy symptoms. The kids will be home from the movies with the grandparents soon.

What's your move?
