Updated: May 27, 2021
You've just revived the following notice from your utility company.
DEAR WATER CUSTOMER:
As part of our ongoing transition to our new water source, a major pipeline installation is scheduled for completion for January 30,2021. The cutover will result in a 3 week interruption in water service. Water crews will be working in your area from February 1, 2021 through February 19, 2021.
Water service will be shut off during this maintenance period. You may also experience intermittent disruptions of water pressure. Normal water service will be restored to your area as soon as crews complete the necessary work. After water service is restored you may experience some air and or discoloration of the water. This is to be expected and can be corrected by running your cold faucets for a while until the air is gone and/or the water clears up.
If you have a fire system you may experience low fire system pressure which may cause an alarm on your fire system. You may need to notify your fire alarm company of this situation to avoid an unnecessary alarm.
We understand that this is an interruption for a prolonged period of time and are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your patience during this upgrade. Please make plans accordingly.
COUNTY WATER DEPARTMENT
Looks like it's time to finally get that water plan put in place.
What's your move?
